28 days, though I originally wanted to go for 42 days.

Age: 30, Height: 5’7”, Weight: 150 lbs

What was your weight after completing the fast?
120 lbs

Why did you decide to fast?
To increase my level of health and vitality. To get over my cooked food addiction.

What was your biggest apprehension going into the fast?
None

Did you ever consider ending the fast during the process? If so, why? Why did you continue/stop?
Yes, I stopped my fast two weeks early due to severe detox symptoms and fear.

Did you accomplish what you set out to do with your fast?
No, because I ended my fast two weeks early.

Would you recommend that people have their fasts supervised? Why, or why not?
Yes, because unexpected symptoms could arise and having reassurance from an expert to guide you through the process is extremely helpful.

Why did you choose to fast at the Tanglewood Wellness Center?
My good friend Bartek introduced me to Loren Lockman 2 years ago at one of Loren’s lectures in Toronto, Ontario in Canada. After meeting Loren everything made such sense. I knew right away that Loren runs an A1 operation.

What was your experience like at Tanglewood?
Staff and interns made it an extraordinary experience. I could never do a better job as an intern. Thanks to all staff and interns.

What did you experience during the fast?
Migraines, nausea, sore throat, fever, vomiting, body soreness, emotional issues, ears plugged, puffy eyes, mucous, runny nose, stomach cramps, dizziness.

How did you spend your time?
Mostly in the room resting. Lectures twice a week. Movie once a week. Occasionally used internet and phone.

Were you hungry during your fast?
No.

Did you get weak?
Yes.

What was the best part of the process for you?
Due to the process being so difficult, I became more aware of the little things that I took for granted. Also, I have grown as an individual both spiritually and emotionally.

What was the most difficult part of the process for you?
During my fourth week, 7 straight days of vomiting and little sleep. Also, every time I drank water, I wanted to vomit.

Was it ever painful? Did you experience discomfort?
Yes and yes.

What are you experiencing now after the fast?
More detox symptoms, but to a lesser degree. Feeling much better after the fast. However, still feelinglack of strength and energy. Very happy to be re-feeding. Also, more weight loss.

What kind of diet are you following after your fast?
All whole fruits and some simple salads, and some soaked nuts.

Is eating difficult for you now that you’ve complete the fast?
No. More enjoyable and I get to appreciate every bit I take of every fruit.

Would you fast again?
Yes.

What advice would you give to other fasters?
To be emotionally and mentally prepared because every person goes through different symptoms. Always follow Loren’s advice and trust his judgement.

Additional Comments:
Over all stay at Tanglewood was very enjoyable due to caring and loving staff and interns. The tropical paradise setting was astonishing. Thank you from the bottome of my heart.
