Are you worried about your food supply? Maybe you should be!

Hi…

I don’t mean to scare you, but there are scary things happening out there regarding safe fresh food. While commercially-grown produce is as dangerous as ever, “organic” no longer means what it used to…

With more big companies entering the organic arena all the time, many things are now designed to meet the lowest standards possible. And the big commercial growers are constantly pressuring the government to lower standards even further.

New regulations make raw almonds almost impossible to find. Tropical produce is heat treated, irradiated, and sometimes dipped in nasty chemicals before being allowed to be brought into the US.

What can you do about all of this? Well, in addition to lobbying congress to maintain strict regulations on organic quality, pestering your local farmers to grow more organic, and being ever more careful about what you buy and eat, you can learn how to really take your own food supply into your own hands.

A few weeks ago, I sent you a message about the Permaculture Design Certification Course that we’ll be offering here at Tanglewood…in just a few weeks now.

If you’re not familiar with permaculture, it’s a 30 year-old philosophy designed to mimic the way food grows in a natural forest, and it allows you to design and build your own food forest which can provide maximum yield with a minimal investment of time and energy. This technology has been used to create food forests in virtually every climate on the planet, including only a few miles from the Dead Sea in Lebanon, in the middle of the desert. After just a few years, a burgeoning food forest now exists…even though rain is very scarce and the soil was considered to salty to grow anything. What works there, will work almost anywhere.

Now, you can learn how to apply these same principles to create your own food forest where ever you live. Within a few years, you can begin to enjoy the highest quality food possible and take control of your health again.

The course runs from Friday, June 4 to Friday June 18 here at our amazing location in the mountains of Panama.

We’ll pick you up at the airport at 4:30 pm on Friday, June 4 and drive you up to Tanglewood where you’ll be able to relax in our lovely environment.

The program is the official 72-hour certification course and so will include every aspect of this amazing technology. The course will be taught right here at Tanglewood, so you can sleep in, wake up to meditate with us, or come and exercise before breakfast.
All meals will be simple raw vegan, and you will be amazed by how good the produce is here.

You’ll stay in one of our comfortable, double occupancy rooms with bath, and will love the beautiful grounds. We’ll take one excursion each week, and most evenings will be free, though we will have some optional planned activities for you as well, and perhaps one night of classes each week.

This is a fascinating program, and can truly put you in control of your own food supply. Whether you want to learn to grow all of your own food or simply want to maximize your current garden’s output, you will find this information invaluable.

Life as we’ve been living is not really sustainable for the planet. We need to find better, more environmentally-sound ways to exist on the planet, and this program is an amazing start.
